Do I need to install any software?
No. HiveSuite is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that runs in your browser. You can install it directly from your browser onto your phone, tablet, or desktop without visiting an app store. It works on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. You get 30 days free with full access to all features. No credit card required to start your trial. You can cancel anytime during or after the trial period.
Does it work with my accounting software?
HiveSuite integrates with QuickBooks UK to automatically sync invoices, payments, and customer data. For other accounting software, you can export data manually or contact us about custom integration options.
How do I collect payments from customers?
Connect your Stripe account (paid plans only) and customers can pay invoices online via credit/debit card. Payment links are automatically included in invoice emails. When customers pay, invoices are marked as paid automatically.
Can I use it on my phone whilst on job sites?
Yes. HiveSuite works on any device with internet. Create quotes on your phone whilst at a customer's location, update job statuses from your van, or check your schedule on your tablet. The interface adapts to your screen size.
What happens after the founding member pricing period?
Solo plan: £24.99/month for 12 months, then £34.99/month. All other plans remain at standard pricing. You can cancel anytime with no penalties. There are no long-term contracts - all plans are month-to-month.
Can I import my existing customer data?
Yes. You can import customers via CSV file upload. Prepare your customer list in a spreadsheet with columns for name, email, phone, and address, then upload it to HiveSuite. This works for moving from spreadsheets or other software.
Is my data backed up?
Yes. All data is automatically backed up daily. Backups are stored securely on EU servers with encryption. Your customer data, invoices, quotes, and financial records are protected.
