See what needs attention at a glance
Colour a cell or a whole row when a value meets a rule you choose, such as overdue invoices in red or jobs over a set value in bold. Add up to five rules per report, or simply ask: "highlight overdue ones in red".
Highlights show on screen, on phones, in PDF and Excel downloads and in emailed reports, so the Monday overdue list arrives with the problems already marked.

Ask a question from the van, open your reports and dashboards, switch the period or "Just mine" with a tap, and ask follow-ups, all laid out for a phone screen. Save, share and download from your phone; pick fields and arrange dashboard tiles on a computer or tablet.
Reports that arrive before you ask
Have any saved report emailed daily, weekly or monthly as a PDF, Excel or CSV file. Periods like "last month" are worked out on the day it is sent, so the overdue list that lands every Monday is always up to date. Pause, start again or stop it whenever you like.

Is HiveIntel included in all plans?
Yes. HiveIntel is included on every HiveSuite plan at no extra cost, from Solo upwards. Every plan gets Ask, Reports and Dashboards, Highlights, downloads and emailed reports. There is no premium reporting tier or add-on.
Do I need to phrase questions a certain way?
No. Ask the way you would ask a colleague, for example "who owes us money?" or "jobs completed last month by crew member". HiveIntel works out the records, dates and totals, and shows exactly how it read the question under "How HiveIntel read this", so you can check it and change anything it got wrong.
Can I change a report without asking again?
Yes. Ask a follow-up such as "only unpaid ones" or "split by customer", or open the report settings and change the fields, filters, grouping and chart yourself on a computer or tablet. Undo and redo are always there, you can compare with the previous period, and clicking a bar or row shows the records behind it.
Can HiveIntel change or delete my data?
No. HiveIntel is read only. It can never add, change or delete anything in your business. Each business only ever sees its own data, and jobs you delete in HivePlanner never appear in any answer, report, dashboard or emailed report.
Who on my team can use it?
Administrators always can. Administrators choose which Staff get HiveIntel and whether they can download or email reports, and Staff only see figures from the areas they have been given. Crew never see HiveIntel.
Can reports be emailed or downloaded?
Yes. Download any report as CSV, Excel or PDF, or have it emailed daily, weekly or monthly. Periods like "last month" or "last quarter" are worked out on the day the email goes out, so the report is always current. Emailed reports can be paused, started again or stopped at any time.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. On a phone you can ask a question, open your reports and dashboards, switch the period or "Just mine" with a tap, ask follow-ups, save, share and download. Picking individual fields and arranging dashboard tiles is done on a computer or tablet.
Is there a limit on questions?
Each user has a generous daily question allowance. Opening, refreshing and emailing reports you have already saved never uses it, and neither does a reply where HiveIntel asks you to clarify.
What can HiveIntel report on?
Jobs, crew work, quotes, invoices, credit notes, customers, crew time, job costs, materials used, stock and hire charges, all from the data already in HiveSuite. Questions outside those areas get a read-only quick answer, which you can save. Vehicle and fleet data from HiveFleet is not in HiveIntel yet.
Does HiveIntel replace my accountant?
No. HiveIntel reports on the work and money already in HiveSuite, such as what you have invoiced, what is overdue and how much VAT you have charged. It is not bookkeeping or tax software. Download a report as Excel or CSV to share with your accountant.
