For many trades, compliance certificates aren't optional - they're a legal requirement. A gas engineer can't leave a property without a CP12. The Certificate Builder

The presets cover most trades, but every business works slightly differently. The Certificate Builder lets you create your own certificate types from scratch - or adapt any of the presets - with full control over fields, layout, and branding.

Custom fields and conditional logic

Each certificate type is built from a set of fields you define. Text fields, dropdowns, date pickers, checkboxes, signatures - you choose what's relevant to your work. Conditional logic means certain fields can show or hide based on answers elsewhere, keeping the form clean and focused for whoever's filling it in.

Repeating sections for inspection tables

Many compliance certificates require repeating entries - the appliance register on a CP12, circuit schedules on an EICR, or a list of tested equipment for PAT. The Certificate Builder supports repeating table sections: each row has its own sub-fields, and engineers can add or remove rows as needed on the job.

Edit certificates after issue

Mistakes happen in the field. If a value needs correcting after a certificate has been issued, you don't have to void it and start over. Any issued certificate can be reopened, updated, and regenerated - with the corrected PDF replacing the original. Issue date, expiry date, and portal visibility can all be adjusted at the same time.
