Dispatch from one board
HivePlanner is where your office plans and dispatches work. HiveCrew is where your engineers receive it.
Crew View
One row per person. Drag a job card to someone's row to give it to them, onto Unassigned to take them off, or out of Unassigned to add someone.
Map view
See the day or week of jobs on a map, coloured by status, alongside unscheduled jobs, with the same crew, status and job type filters as the calendar.
Nearest crew
The job panel suggests the team members nearest to a job site, based on each person's most recent check-in location.
Unscheduled tray
Jobs without a date, and accepted quotes not yet booked, wait in a tray beside the calendar until you drag them onto a day or a person.
Instant notifications
People added to a job are told by email, in-app and push notification, and optionally by SMS, with each channel switched on or off in settings.
Clash and holiday checks
Warnings before you double-book someone, and with HiveLeave switched on, a warning (or a block) before you book someone who is on holiday or off sick.

From a website booking form, the Customer Portal or your office. Approve it and it becomes a job.

Drag it to a person in Crew View, or pick the crew in the job panel with nearest-crew suggestions.

The engineer taps On my way in HiveCrew, and the customer can be sent an 'on my way' message.

Arrived and complete
Arrived starts the timer; Complete records the work, with optional office sign-off before invoicing.

HiveSuite does not optimise routes automatically. Nearest-crew suggestions use each person's last check-in location, not a live position. SMS needs a paid plan and credits.

Job Dispatch Software FAQ
What is job dispatch software?
Job dispatch software lets the office assign jobs to engineers or field staff, tell them about the job and follow its progress until it is complete. In HiveSuite, dispatch happens in HivePlanner and engineers receive their jobs in HiveCrew.
How do engineers find out about a new job?
When someone is added to a job, HiveSuite can notify them by email, in-app notification, push notification and SMS. Each channel can be switched on or off in HivePlanner Settings; SMS needs a paid plan and credits.
Can I see jobs on a map before I assign them?
Yes. The HivePlanner map view shows scheduled jobs for a day, week or chosen dates, plus unscheduled jobs, coloured by status and filtered by crew, status and job type.
Does HiveSuite suggest who is closest to a job?
Yes. The job panel suggests the nearest team members based on each person's most recent check-in location. It is not live tracking, and HiveSuite does not optimise routes automatically.
Can customers be told the engineer is on the way?
Yes. When the engineer taps On my way in HiveCrew, HiveSuite can send the customer an 'on my way' message. You choose who receives job messages in HivePlanner Settings, with per-customer overrides.
