Job Sheet Software FAQ
What is a digital job sheet?
A digital job sheet replaces the paper job sheet or job card. It holds the job details, the work done, materials used, photos, notes, checklists and signatures, completed on a phone or tablet and saved straight to the job record.
Is a work order the same as a job sheet?
They overlap. A work order usually describes the work to be done; a job sheet records what was done. In HiveSuite both live on the same job, and you can download a branded work order PDF for any job.
Can engineers fill in job sheets without a signal?
Yes, in the native Android app. Engineers can check in, add photos and notes, log materials, complete checklists and issue certificates offline, and everything syncs when the phone reconnects. On iPhone, HiveSuite currently needs a connection while the native iOS app awaits App Store approval.
Can I hide prices from engineers?
Yes. Crew access to job lines can be none, view, change quantities, or add and edit, with or without prices, set in HiveCrew Permissions with per-person overrides. The work order only shows prices to people allowed to see them.
Can I get the customer to sign off the job?
Yes. Certificates, including a standard job completion certificate, capture signatures on site and are emailed to the completion recipients.
Can I design my own job sheet?
Yes. Build your own checklist and certificate templates in Certificate Studio, and choose the title and sections shown on the work order PDF.
